This antique from the 20's wine cage was constructed by Württemberg Metal furniture manufacturer L. & C. Arnold. The company L. & C. Arnold made between 1927 - 1932 both iron and steel furniture. For the model homes at the Werkbund 1927 exhibition in Stuttgart, Weißenhof L. & C. Arnold had produced iron furniture by the Dutch architect Mart Stam including the first back legs loose chair who was made of tubular iron. For stability reasons, however, reinforced with iron pieces. L. & C. Arnold equipped in 1936 the highly stylish interior of the zeppelin airship Hindenburg with chairs and armchairs.
