From now on ZEILOS – BERLIN offers the Max Bill collection of the Swiss manufacturer wohnbedarf. The Zurich-based company wohnbedarf has been synonymous with modern living and quality since 1931. Among the Swiss architect, artist and designer Max Bill's most notable product designs is the "Ulmer Hocker" of 1954, a stool that can also be used as a shelf element or a side table. From the collection of the Bauhaus student Max Bill his legendary Tripod and Cross-Frame Chair, Bar Stool, Square Round Table and Dining Table will extend our assortment.

"Hansaviertel" is the name for the pattern-settlement of the international building exhibition "Interbau" of 1957 between the Tiergarten and the route of the tram. Participating were reknown architects like Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius, Oscar Niemeyer, Paul Baumgarten and Arne Jacobsen. The area was planned in 1953 and implemented in the years 1955-1960. Since 1995 it is fully protected. The Hansaviertel can be seen as a demonstration project of modern urban planning and architecture of the classic and post-modernism. It should stand for naturalness and informality of „the city from tomorrow“. Explore it out of todays` perspective. 

The Citizens` Association Bürgerverein Hansaviertel e.V. regularly organizes architectural and cultural history tours.

In addition, the Bauhaus Archive and art:berlin offer excursions with experts through the Hansaviertel.

The project "die stadt von morgen" contributed to the archeology of the Hansaviertel.

The gallery was founded in 1996 by Jeff Dah-Yue Shi. It achieved international attention with its design products that combine Taiwanese traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Jeff Dah-Yue Shi has designed furniture that won the Red Dod Design Award 2009 and 2010. He wanted to help the bamboo factories in Jhushan and preserve them from shutting down. We think: Altruism as its finest!

The custom of drinking tea has a long tradition in Taiwan. The traditional tea ceremony where old men sit together and drink tea is called "lao-jen cha". There are many Cha-shops in Taipei, but "Cha for Tea" is the epitome of the new tea culture in Taiwan. The enjoyment of tea will be presented in contemporary interior design.
