Who We Are
ZEITLOS – BERLIN is the leading design gallery for original design classics of the Bauhaus, Art Deco, Streamline and Mid-Century era in the design metropolis Berlin.
Since the opening of stilwerk in 1999, ZEITLOS – BERLIN is represented with its gallery space in Kantstrasse 17. ZEITLOS – BERLIN is directed by collector and design expert Uwe Mönnikes and since September 2012 officially incorporated as Ltd. Art Trade Limited Partnership.
Our customers include museums, galleries, collectors, architects, interior designers and especially design lovers from all around the world.
They all have in common the awareness that the sleekest car in the world, the most elegant interior decorations and all the breathtaking architecture was designed in the first half of the 20th century – between the worlds of Metropolis and James Bond. Our ambition at ZEITLOS – BERLIN is to preserve, together with our customers, this attitude to life from the time of Modernism.

ZEITLOS – BERLIN is also specialized in authentic interior furnishing of domestic and business premises. In addition, we restore your damaged treasures of Modernism. We have a network of art experts, craftsmen and conservators and specialized companies which are still capable of working in the specific quality of the modern era.
Our furniture are also rent out to movie, advertising and photo productions and well-known directors and photographers put them worldwide into focus.
Furthermore, we present on a regular base design and architecture exhibitions in our gallery.
