Description:

This rare globe was expensive as a small car in the Fifties and Sixties. But instead of using a contemporary design from the Fifties, the publisher Karlheinz Wagner choose a German Art Deco base designed in the Thirties.

The contemporary Chancellor of Germany Konrad Adenauer had one in his private dining room.
